Q: Do you offer learn-to-swim?
A: You should already have a baseline comfort with being in water and know the basics about how to keep yourself afloat. It's fine if it's been a long time since you learned.
Q: What do I need to have with me?
A: For the pool: swimsuit, goggles, towel, and a water bottle are sufficient. OWS usually requires a wetsuit.
Q: What does it cost?
A: Initial consultation is free. For all other services, the price list is here.
During the month of January while we ramp up, I am offering discounted sessions. Contact me for further information.
Q: Where do you coach?
A: As an independent operator, I go to various pools in accord with your availability. I will work with you to find the right location. (Open water swim would usually be at Aquatic Park in SF.) Travel costs may apply for locations outside San Francisco proper.
Q: I've never had a coach. What is the experience like?
A: For those still getting comfortable with swimming, I get in the water with you. We talk, I show you some drills, we figure out together where you need to focus.
More advanced swimmers will have a targeted conversation about your goals and concerns. I will observe you and then give "homework."
