Coach Mike came to swimming later in life, but during more than 15 years of triathlon experience has discovered a love for the water and began coaching teammates in 2023. His passion is helping those who never felt like they were natural swimmers discover their own enthusiasm for it.
Mike is a two-time Ironman and enjoys both in-pool and open-water swimming.
He is a U.S. Masters Swimming certified coach and also an American Red Cross-certified lifeguard.
One of the biggest demotivators for people who want to swim regularly is that it can quickly feel repetitive and like a chore. I bring a different "hook" to every session--a concept for you to focus on--so each workout feels fresh. (See the examples of group workouts I've previously designed for an idea!)
